When the closing bell tolled on Friday, it brought forth divergent movements for two key ETFs. The SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF emerged as the victor, its value blooming by 2% amidst the market cacophony. Metropolitan Bank Holding saw a significant uptick of 19.1%, dancing joyfully alongside Valley National Bancorp, which climbed 4.4% on the same tempo.

On the flip side, the Semiconductor ETF found no favor in the tumult, dipping by 2.3% as the sun set on Friday’s trading. Advanced Micro Devices bore the brunt heavily, falling by 4.1%, while Micron Technology stumbled down by 3.9% on the day’s journey.
